COMM 2101 - Writing for Multimedia

This course introduces students to the basics of media writing for news, public relations, and video scriptwriting. Students are exposed to the Associated Press Style and principles of information gathering. Upon the successful completion of this course, students will be able to write basic news stories, news releases, and video scripts. Course Value: This course gives students the skills set to support career choices in the media and communications department that require writing.
