COMM 3401 - Introduction to Public Relations & Strategic Communication

This course introduces students to the practice of public relations (PR). It provides a scope of the role of PR in society and how it is practiced in various spheres, such as health, government, education, non-profit, profit, politics, entertainment, tourism, etc. Upon the successful completion of the course, students will be able to determine target audiences and stakeholders and to produce PR deliverables, such as news releases, fact sheets, etc., to reach them.
