COMM 2112 - Media Literacy

This course introduces students to skills necessary to judge information sources and verify facts using multiple sources. Students will learn how to spot fake news, gauge tone and language, question and verify numbers and data, recognize bias in themselves and sources and recognize how media professionals and consumers shape the media.
