MECT 4701K - Fundamentals of HVAC

Credits: 4

This course covers the fundamentals of Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Refrigeration systems, their components, operation and applications. Basic Psychrometric, heating and cooling loads calculations, and duct design are also covered. Heat transmission in building structures and solar radiation, and refrigerant characteristics are also discussed.

Prerequisite(s): ENGT 3331K  and MECT 3411
