MATH 2401 - Introduction to Mathematical Software


Credits: 3

This course introduces basic programming concepts with math software for solving problems typically encountered by mathematicians. The course covers basic procedural techniques, such as variables, data input/output, rational and logical operators, loops and iteration procedures, graphics and mathematical visualization. One or more programming software for the course will be chosen among most popular mathematical programming software, including Maple, MATLAB, Mathematica, etc.
